You’re probably wondering how did we get to this point in our lives, and how we managed to decide to start the Shake It Off podcast.
Kendra is a marketing and communication specialist and pilates instructor, mentor, and educator. She empowers clients and mentors students to maintain their physical health goals, and teaches about the mind-body connection. She has co-designed and implemented a nationwide women’s wellness curriculum for Surfing Australia that centered around nudging women, including those who were typically sedentary, to integrate exercise and outside activity into their daily lives.
Lauren is a behavioral scientist by training, and has a Ph.D. in the field of psychology. Her research experience is in stress management, wellbeing, parenting, and family support and implementation science. She is a mental health program design consultant and stress management and parenting coach at her consultancy and coaching business, Mindset and Positive Change Consultancy and Coaching. Where she develops unique strategies to help organization, professionals and parents to develop healthy habits and find their emotional center when they experience stress and change. Lauren helps bring people from stress and overwhelm to presence and purpose.
During this episode, we will talk about everything that has happened over the past decade from college, international travel, starting our businesses, and everything else in between.
